Don’t forget to mark your calendars for the annual
4th of July
Parade
that the club always does in Westcliff (conveniently it will be
held on July 4th). After the parade we cruise to a
local restaurant for lunch (BBQ). Remember to bring candy to
throw out for the kids (pace yourselves – kids on the first part
of route have mounds of candy on the ground) and decorate your
VW with flags, bunting, etc. This is a great parade that the
whole community turns out to watch. The Corvette club always has
a big contingent there; this year lets show them that VW’s Rule.
We will meet at the church 9:30 Friday morning; from I-20, exit
Trail Lake, go north to church about two miles (see link below).
